How does this work exactly? Will you meet with me and my pets?
Yes, absolutely! After you complete the client forms, we will arrange a time to meet with you and your fur family. We will introduce ourselves, learn about your pets, take a tour of your pet's home/space, and listen to details regarding your pet's daily care routine and needs. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your pet care reservation and will be collected at the time of the meet-and-greet. We will also collect your key/s (2 preferred) during the meet-and-greet.
Is a deposit required? When is the balance due?
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required in order to secure your petsitting and drop-in care reservations. The remaining balance is due on or before the first date of service.
What if my plans change? What is your cancellation policy?
We absolutely understand that plans can change. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to book your reservation. In the event that you need to cancel, 50% of your non-refundable deposit will be returned to you in the form of a service credit to be used within 365 days of the date of cancellation. We accept cancellations up to 72-hours before the first date of service. Cancellations made less than 72-hours before the first date of service will be charged in full for all dates of service booked.
What forms of payment do you accept?

We have a relative/neighbor/other petsitter who can do part of the care. Can we book you to do the other parts that they cannot?
For the health and safety of your pet, and the security of your home, we do not divide care assignments.
Is it ok for my friend/relative/third party to drop by or stay in my home during the petsitting assignment?
To ensure that all runs smoothly and safely for your pets and your home, we believe that the responsibility of all care should rest solely upon our shoulders. We do not allow third parties into the home while you are away.
We feel our pets only need a visit once every other day. Can you provide this for us?
When we take over care for your animal, it is our policy that your pet receive a check in at least every 24-hours (for cats), and 3 visits/day or home-based stays for dogs. Once you depart and before your return, your pet must be visited by us within 24 hours of these events and at least every 24 hours in between. This visitation frequency is recommended by veterinarians and we have found it to be essential in providing for the safety, health, and well being of your pet.
I want to secure a booking during the meet-and-greet, but do not have keys ready, can I mail them to you or can you come by to pick them up?
Please feel free to mail your key by a secure, trackable carrier within 72-hours of the meet-and-greet. If you prefer, we can come by and pick up the key/s as our schedule allows, hourly rates apply.
Will you leave the key/s at my home when the pet care is concluded? Or can you hold onto them?
That is completely up to you. Please let us know. We will be happy to leave the key/s locked inside the home once we completely conclude care or place your keys in a secure location on the premises at your direction. Please keep in mind that if your return is delayed and your pets are in need of extended care, we will need to have access to the home. We are also happy to safely store your keys for future pet care visits or extenuating circumstances. In the event that you need your keys returned, please let us know and we will be happy to bring them to you (hourly rates apply), or mail them to you using a secure trackable carrier (carrier rates apply).
